2250 Ultra Centrecab - Epic Stewart Island Adventure
The all new 2250 Ultra Centrecab was inducted into our brand the only way we know how. Rough water testing in the ‘Roaring Forties’ of New Zealand’s most Southern Coastline. Only 90km from the Stabicraft factory floor, this is our backyard. We sent a crew on-board two 2250 Ultra Centrecabs across the rugged Foveaux Strait and into the depths of the 47th parallel. It is here at 47 degrees South of the equator you will find the infamous ‘Roaring Forties’, a name given to the Strong westerly winds and BIG seas found between the latitudes 40 and 50 degrees South. Get your popcorn ready, sit back and immerse yourself in the full length 3 day adventure.
The 2250 Ultra Centrecab "Adventure" package is set on achieving the full functionality of a walk-around style cabin whilst allowing you to customise it to your preference. With standard features like 17 rodholders, 300L (79gal) fuel capacity and seating for 6 in the cabin, the Aventure package has everything you need and nothing you don’t.
The 2250 Ultra Centrecab Sportfish package has some eye-popping added features like Stage 1 paint and the ever-popular U-Dek flooring. With a large range of standard paint colour options and four U-Dek options, you can choose a myriad of combinations to suit your own preference.
The 2250 Centrecab Offshore package is destined for cooler climates with a rear cabin drop-curtain as a standard feature. Coupled with a Porta Potti, downrigger power points and an auxiliary bracket, the Offshore package is popular package with our North American boaters.

The space and ergonomic access the 2250 Ultra Centrecab design allows for is unparalleled within the trailerboat industry. You can easily manoeuvre forward whilst fighting a fish or carrying gear and the inset bow rail design keeps you safe and secure while doing so.
With a volume of 195L (52gal), the underfloor storage area is perfect for bait, ropes, fenders and even fish if you have had an exceptional day on the water. The flush floor lid is easily lifted and stays in the ‘up’ position while you access the underfloor area, making great use of otherwise unusable space.
The forward raking windscreen (we like to call ‘Ultra’) on the 2250 Ultra Centrecab is an aggressive design approach that fits well with the Stabicraft® DNA. Having the screen raking forwards allows for a further forward dash and helm and increases the cabin volume by a whopping 33% over the conventional Centrecab design.
