A business is only as good as its people and that's why at Stabicraft we only have the best.
Tradesman, turned boat builder, turned businessman. In 2007, Paul Adams was named a member of the NZ Order of Merit for his services to business. The honour is a fitting tribute for the man who in 1987 pioneered positive buoyancy aluminium boats, transforming New Zealand's marine industry. "We pride ourselves on making a boat that enables our clients to embark on adventures with the confidence that, even in the worst conditions, they will get home".
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
David has a wide range of business and industry experiences, having spend 10+ years in the marine industry before spending 5 years heading up a leading agritech business in Dunedin. David is very pleased to be back in the marine sector and looking forward to working with the Stabi team to chart a course for exciting growth and expansion in the medium term.
Coming from the ‘City of Sails’ David has been sailing since he was a ‘nipper’ and has raced dinghies and keel-boats in many parts of the world. He now enjoys racing Rainbow, an 1898 classic yacht, that he restored on the Waitemata. You can take the boy out of Auckland, but not the Waitemata out of the boy! David looks forward to developing his fishing skills while familiarising himself with Stabicraft performance and safety.
CHIEF OPERATIONS OFFICER
Tim is a natural when it comes to getting teams operating at full capacity. Using the power of lean thinking to drive daily improvements, Tim creates an environment where people love what they do, do it well and are highly engaged.
The ins and outs, he learned hands-on, while managing just-in-time suppliers to car makers like Volvo, Mercedes and BMW. The following decade, Tim helped other multinationals to start, improve and stay on top of their manufacturing and supply chain activities.
Current adventure? Growing Stabicraft from great to awesome. With confidence.
